The Minister of Health of Bulgaria issued an order (Zapoved No. RD-01-268/ 05.15.2020), on the basis of which shopping centers and fitness centers will be able to start operating from 00.00 on May 18. The order was formed after a meeting between Boyko Borisov and representatives of the largest shopping centers and the Bulgarian Retail Trade Association. The Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to continue to strike a balance between restoring economic life and maintaining anti-epidemic measures in order to maximally protect the health of Bulgarian citizens.

Due to the danger of the spread of coronavirus On March 13, a state of emergency was declared in Bulgaria, a month later it was extended until May 13. Starting from May 14, the state of emergency changes to an emergency epidemiological situation for a period until June 14. Blue license plates are issued to people living in Bulgaria using a residence permit card (the car is registered to an individual). To begin with, I would like to note that in general, problems with road inspectors on Bulgarian highways arise infrequently. The guards, with rare exceptions, behave calmly, sometimes they can let the driver go without a fine, giving a warning, and also, often, treat ladies driving condescendingly. With the advent of the new year, modern rules for issuing and paying for vignettes in Bulgaria came into force. It should be noted that now there is no need to stick a paper sticker on the windshield of the car. When checked by road inspectors, drivers are not required to present a document confirming the purchased electronic vignette, since payment data is now available online. Prices for e-vinettes remain unchanged for all vehicles; in some cases, it is necessary to pay a percentage to the intermediary seller.
