The Council of Ministers extended the validity period of the state of emergency for public health until the end of November. In their arguments, the cabinet states that the coronavirus pandemic continues to remain a serious emergency situation in the field of public health at both national and global levels. According to the authorities' analysis, "the unfavorable development of the epidemic situation continues due to high mortality rates against the background of decreasing morbidity rates and maintaining the level of inpatient treatment for patients with moderate and severe clinical presentations."

Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov issued an order "Zapoved RD-01-443/30.07.2020" from which it follows that starting from September 1, persons arriving from Turkey, Serbia and Belarus can enter the territory of Bulgaria without providing a negative PCR test result and subsequent quarantine. This commandment also cancels the mandatory quarantine for persons arriving from the above countries during the period from August 20 to 31.

Greece is introducing new measures for all citizens entering through the Kulata-Promahon border crossing, starting July 15 at 06.00. It will be necessary to provide a negative PCR test result for coronavirus. According to the Bulgarian embassy in Athens, the test must be done no earlier than 72 hours before arrival at the border. The certificate with the test result must be issued in English, indicating the full name and passport number (identity card). The test result will only be accepted if it was done in accredited laboratories. Nightlife lovers and football fans today have last chance to visit their favorite establishment. From tomorrow (July 10), bars and discos located indoors will again close, and matches will be played without spectators. The decree (Precept No. RD-01-393/07/09/2020) was issued by Health Minister Kiril Ananiev after the number of coronavirus infections increased to 200 people per day. The decree will be valid until June 15, but the authorities have already announced that they are preparing to extend the epidemic situation until the end of July.

From Monday, June 15, discos, nightclubs and piano bars will be able to resume work. Due to the restrictions adopted due to the coronavirus, a large number of citizens with a residence permit in Bulgaria (residence permit, residence permit and permanent residence permit) are faced with the difficulty of confirming and extending documents. According to the decree of the Minister of Health Kiril Ananiev (Reserve No. RD-01-270/19.05.2020) from May 22 Kindergartens and nurseries are opening in Bulgaria. The purpose of the opening is to help parents who are unable to stay at home with their children. However, the minister called for children to be left at home if possible, especially if there are people over 60 living in the family. The reason is that the risk of coronavirus infection has not yet passed.
